A registry wedding photographer in Melbourne starts at $880 with me. That is two hours of photography, on digital and film, with a sneak peek within 24 hours and the full gallery within four weeks.
I am an editorial wedding photographer in Melbourne, shooting registry, intimate and fashion-forward weddings on digital and film. Most of these weddings are at the Victorian Marriage Registry in the Old Treasury Building. The ceremony is short, so the price is about time, and what you do with the rest of it.
Arriving at the Treasury. The ceremony and the signing. Family on the steps. Portraits in Treasury Gardens or up at Parliament House. Two hours is enough for all of it without rushing.
200 or more edited images, high resolution for print and web size for sharing, in a private online gallery, available for one year. A pre-wedding meeting and a timeline before the day. Film is developed at Echo Darkroom in Collingwood, either in-house or by me.
Video of the ceremony can be added, with your vows recorded properly. Tell me what you have in mind and I will send you a quote.
Lunch after, a walk to the river, a dinner with family. If you want more than two hours, or more of the day covered, I will put a quote together for you.
The registry charges its own ceremony fee, paid to Births, Deaths and Marriages Victoria. There is no travel fee within 20 km of Collingwood, which covers the city. A 50% deposit holds your date. See the full civil wedding guide, or a registry wedding from start to finish.
Dates for 2027 are open.
